This 2006 Monticello 70’ x 17’ 8” River Yacht is now for sale! Her slip at Tellico Harbor Marina is transferable with purchase.

Powered by twin Mercruiser 8.1 L 370 HP V-8 engines with v-drive transmissions. There are 694 hours on the port motor and 689 hours on the starboard motor. The ship’s systems are charged by 50 amp shore power while dockside, and a Westerbeke 12.5 KW generator with 1,069 hours. She is also equipped with a battery charger and inverter.

Stepping aboard this beautiful vessel, you will notice the translation of her 17’ 8” beam to the incredibly spacious bow and aft decks. The high rise bow is a key distinction from most houseboats as it provides a smoother cut through water while underway, which allows this vessel to be used in coastal or lake environments. There is ample room within the port storage hatch as well as underneath the bow sun-cushions; expansive compartments for shore power cords, hoses, and other deck items. The aft deck features a port side storage locker and stairs leading to the upper deck. A large canopy extends from the bow covering two-thirds of the upper deck, which is furnished with an upper helm station, dedicated staircase entry to the salon, wet-bar with fridge, barbecue grill, and forward facing lounge seats in-front of the upper helm.

Entering the cabin through the large sliding door, you will be amazed by the amenities of her interior! Along the port side, an extensive reclinable sofa accommodates guests lounging and enjoying the great entertainment center featuring an LG Smart TV, Phillips DVD Player, and an ONKYO surround sound system with numerous Yamaha Audio speakers throughout. This center is shared with the island in the center of the salon providing additional entertainment while dining. Also on the port side, a staircase leads to the upper deck and the steps to the left lead into a dedicated office space with a large desk and numerous storage compartments.

The galley stretches along the starboard side with plenty of pantry space. She is furnished with a GE double-door refrigerator/freezer, GE dishwasher, GE 5 burner stove and oven, Whirlpool microwave, two-bay kitchen sink, GE trash compactor, and a GE washer/dryer combo. You will notice throughout the boat, almost all of the closets are lined with cedar wood to prevent rot and mold while also providing an elegant look compared to other closet materials.

The helm is loaded with electronics to give the captain full control over their voyage. Mercruiser SmartCraft DTS controls, Raymarine E120 GPS/Pathfinder/Chart Plotter, and VHF are found at both helms (Raymarine E80 model installed at the upper helm).

This vessel sleeps 5-6 with her master stateroom, guest stateroom, and reclinable sofa (great for when the kiddos sleep over!). The guest stateroom features a dedicated spot, out of the way for a TV and entertainment console. Down the hallway, the large windows allow natural lighting and great views of the water. Before reaching the aft, the guest head features a full standing shower, large vanity, toiletry closet, and toilet. Moving to the master stateroom, there is plenty of walking space around the bed with additional closet and drawer space. Another media center is present in the corner of the large room. By the hydraulic switch in the closet, one can raise the bed to reveal a large walk-down closet for additional storage and access to the bilge. This stateroom features an on-suite head with a full shower, vanity, and supplies closet as well.
